The AMAA Who’s Who in the Martial Arts Hall of Fame is a hall of fame which honors martial artists, they are inducted through the Who’s Who Legends Award once a year. Jessie Bowen Executive Director of The (AMAA)American Martial Arts Alliance Institute is traveling around the country promoting the AMAA’s publications.[1][2]
Award Ceremony[edit]
The ceremony and banquets for the legends award is held at Orleans Hotel & Casino[3] in Las Vegas, Nevada, the inductees receive a poster size plaque, custom ring and are included in the book “Martial Arts Masters and Pioneers: Who’s Really Who in Martial Arts.”[4]
At least 800 nominations [5] of martial artists were received out of those 250 [6] had the honor[7] to be inducted into the AMAA Who’s Who Legends Hall of Fame.[8][9]
AMAA Publications[edit]
To focus on the importance of martial arts Bowen published a book titled Martial Arts Master & Pioneers. In its 380 pages the book tells the stories of 200 martial artists from every corner of the world whom have contribute to their community.[1]

The 2017 edition of Who’s Who in the Martial Arts, autobiography focusing on the over 200 martial artists viewed as legends in the art and tournament sport, spanning the last 60 years.[8]
Bowen believes it is an awareness tool for parents and students to understand what the martial arts are about but more importantly to know the instructors that can properly help them improve the quality of their lives or their kids. It serves to educate them in self defense and find who's qualified to teach children.[1]
Several other publications revolving around high achievers in martial arts have also been published by Bowen through the AMAA.[10]
