L'International des Feux Loto-Québec is an international fireworks competition in which major companies, representing their respective country, provide the opportunity to see the latest techniques and innovations in the field of pyrotechnics.

The best way to enjoy this experience is in the grandstands at La Ronde, where spectators have the most expansive vantage point, with musical accompaniment, to view the fireworks in the festive setting of the amusement park.

On the evenings the fireworks are held, the Jacques-Carter Bridge is completely closed to vehicular and cyclist traffic. This enables the population to walk to the site to enjoy the show and the outstanding views of Montréal and surrounding areas. The Jean-Drapeau subway station is the fastest way to get to the Jacques-Carter Bridge area.

Opening Throwback 1985

10 p.m.
To launch the 35th edition of the International des Feux Loto-Québec (international fireworks competition), this highly colourful pyrotechnical show will be accompanied by some of the greatest musical hits of the 1980s: the artists include David Bowie, Bryan Adams, Eurythmics, Genesis, Madonna and many others.

South Korea Dreaming in Montreal

10 p.m.
An evening where imagination, fantasy and a world of marvels will be much in evidence. The movie themes, which will be especially aimed at children, both past and present, will be teaming up with the pyrotechnical display.

Italy One Step - Moon Dream

10 p.m.
Along with timeless and worldly music, these fireworks will highlight the determination of men and women that made space voyages and the first human steps on the moon possible.

Portugal Stay Tuned

10 p.m.
With music from popular TV series, from years ago to the present day, this fireworks display will combine a blue neon colour, shades of pastel and brilliant lighting. The fireworks will be projected from a floating structure specially designed for the occasion.

USA Jungle Spirit

10 p.m.
Inspired by the exciting and dangerous life of the animal kingdom, as depicted in movies and novels, this colourful pyro-musical show will immerse you in the vibrant world of the jungle.

Canada A First Walk on the Moon

Highlighted by the Apollo 11 spaceflight which led to two astronauts setting foot on the moon, this fireworks series will relive the era when everything seemed possible. The show will be interspersed with some of the musical hits of the 1960s.

Australia Shapeshifter

The transformative power of mythic beings inspired the creators of this pyrotechnical show: colours and shapes will blend together to delight, impress and surprise fireworks' viewers.

Finale des Étoiles Loto-Québec Celebration of Casino de Montréal's 25th anniversary

10 p.m.
The Casino de Montréal celebrates 25 years of existence with this outstanding show, in which 25 French-language songs by Québec artists will accompany the fireworks display. Gregory Charles, who collaborated on putting together the sound track, will also be rendering a live performance before the fireworks.

Jacques Cartier Bridge

The bridge will be open to pedestrians so they can enjoy the show (without their bikes).

The Jacques Cartier Bridge will be completely closed to traffic from around 8:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. for the fireworks displays at La Ronde. Road users are invited to use the Champlain or Victoria Bridges, as well as the Louis Hippolyte Lafontaine Bridge-Tunnel, during this period.

Also note that bicycles and animals will not be allowed on the bridge site (or the bike path as of approximately 8:15 p.m.) during this event.

The bridge will be progressively reopened to traffic starting at 11:30 p.m.

South Shore Bike link

The opening of the South Shore Bike link will be extended to 11 p.m. on nights when the International des Feux Loto-Québec is being held, making it easier for the public's traveling.

River shuttle

During the summer season, Parc Jean-Drapeau visitors can use the river shuttle as a means of transportation, from the Vieux-Port de Montréal (Jacques-Cartier pier) and the city of Longueuil.

Users can also bring along their bikes and they have access to a network of cycling paths at each stop.

Covid-19 - The river shuttle service will not be operational for the 2021 summer season.

STM shuttle

Two STM shuttles provide a connection between the Jean-Drapeau subway station and various attractions.

767: During the summer season, the 767 shuttle stops at Jean-Doré Beach and the La Ronde amusement park.

777: Every day of the year, the 777 shuttle provides fast access to the Casino de Montréal.

Bike / BIXI

Parc Jean-Drapeau is part of the Trans Canada Trail and the Route verte and is one of the few places where you can cross the Saint Lawrence River on your bike.

From Montréal: take the Lachine Canal bike path, near the Vieux-Port de Montréal, or the Jacques Cartier Bridge cycling path.

From the South Shore: take the Bike Link, between Saint-Lambert and Parc Jean-Drapeau, or the Jacques Cartier Bridge cycling path.
